Congratulations to Terry Keane who won this weekend’s KSC keelboat championship! It was a weekend with wildly varying conditions from 10 to 12 knots of steady breeze to light and shifty conditions. Terry Keane, sailing his J22, set the pace early by tying with Hank Goodman for the first race of the two day event and continued to finish at, or near, the top of the fleet for the duration of the 6 races. Be sure to congratulate Terry next time you see him for a great performance! He and his crew put on a show.
KSC added a recreational keelboat distance race event to this year’s event. The recreational fleet decided the 40 degree temps with drizzling rain wasn’t in their best interest and finished the weekend with one distance race held on Saturday. Bill Hurni won with an insurmountable lead!
