Principal Photographer
The website slide shows of special events have become a popular feature but the number of photos received can be overwhelming. One event this year yielded nearly 700 photos from several photographers. Therefore the Communications Committee (CC) suggests slide shows be created of five major 2010 KSC events: the Keowee Cup, July 4th, Youth Sailing Camp, Low Country Boil and the Turkey Shoot using a single person who would take on the role of Principal Photographer or P2. The P2 responsibilities would include:
- Gain the Event Leader's & CC's recognition & inform other photograghers (Ps) of the P2's role.
- Take photos & coordinate collecting photos from other Ps in a timely manner.
- Choose the best of these photos to submit to the Webmaster and Waterline. Typically this would be 15 photos for one day events and twenty five for multi-day events.
- Coordinate with members who seek photos for self or sailing organizations.
- Check with the webmaster using the link below as to the easiest way to submit photos.
